Carsten Schmidt has many years’ experience in the fields of procurement law, (private) construction law as well as architectural and engineering law.

He advises public clients on all questions of national and European procurement law.

His practice focuses on the conception, preparation and targeted support of award procedures (award management) as well as on the representation in legal protection proceedings. In particular, he supports bidders with the inspection/review of award documentation and the legally compliant drafting of the bids.

A further key area of his work is comprehensive consultation for clients and contractors on matters relating to private construction law (e.g. structuring effective change-order management processes).

Carsten Schmidt is a managing director of the CLP Akademie regarding procurement and construction law and an experienced speaker for specialist training events.
